Enslaved Persons Named: Mary, Linda, Caroline, Daniel, Simeon, Sandy

On May 20, 1828, Quarterman Way, Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note of $582.92 to Uriah Wilcox, same place, “a female slave named Mary, & her five children named Linda, Caroline, Daniel, Simeon & Sandy, together with the future issue & increase of the females.” Witnessed by Dwight R. Perry, Rodney Pease. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on May 22, 1828.
