Enslaved Persons Named: Billy, John, David, Creesy, Mary

On December 28, 1827, William A. Pittman, of Crawford County, sold to Jesse Ham, of Liberty County, for $1600 “Billy, about twenty five or six years of age, John about twenty three; David, about eighteen; Creesy [alt: Creasy], about twenty one, and her child Mary about three years old.” Deed executed in Bibb County. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on January 21, 1828.
