Enslaved Persons Named: Chloe, Patrick

On April 26, 1825, Quarterman Way, Liberty County, used as collateral on five promissory notes totalling $154.81 to Uriah Wilcox, same county, “a certain female slave named Chloe, & her son named Patrick, together with the future increase of the said Chloe.” Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on April 28, 1825.  [NOTE: Marked as satisfied, with satisfaction entered in Book K, page 60.]
