On January 3, 1825, Bartholomew A. Busby and Richard S. Baker, Liberty County, put up a bond of $500 to the Justices of the Inferior Court of Liberty County so that Bartholomew Busby could be named guardian of “Abram, a person of color claiming to be free.” Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on January 31, 1825.
