On February 5, 1824, Samuel Stevens and Ann Stevens sold to Matthew Bennet for $1100 “two male slaves named Bob & Jacob & one female slave named Nanny.” Witnessed by P.F. Winn, Moses Ham, Sarah Spencer. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on February 9, 1824.
