Enslaved Persons Named: Bina, Chloe, Ben

On April 2, 1822, James C. Phelps sold to Nath’l [Nathaniel] Varnedoe for $700 “a female slave named Bina, & her two children named Chloe & Ben.” Witnessed by Uriah Wilcox, Joseph Law Jr. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on May 8, 1824.
