On January 29, 1824, Peter W. Law sold to William Robarts for $300 “a negro man Cuffy [alt: Cuffee].” Witnessed by Jos. [Joseph] Baisden and J.W.L. Robarts. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on February 9, 1824.
