On January 11, 1837, Joseph W. Pinder, Chatham County, sold for $834 to Simon Fraser, “guardian of the children of Alexander Martin late of Liberty County,” “a negro woman slave named Fanny together with the future issue & increase…” Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on March 7, 1837.
