On January 14, 1835, David Stetson, merchant of Liberty County, sold to William R. McDonald, planter of Liberty County, for $500 “a certain female slave named Rachell…” Witnessed by Adam C. Dunham. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on August 6, 1835.
