On January 15, 1835, Alexander Stewart, Liberty County, used as collateral to secure drafts of “seven or eight hundred dollars” to George Anderson & Son, factors of Savannah, “the certain negroes named, Long Rose, Betty, Dinah & Cinda…” Witnessed by George W. Walthour and W.B. Gaulden [alt: Gauldin]. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on January 25, 1835.
