On March 3, 1835, Barrington King, McIntosh County, sold to N. [Nathaniel] Varnedoe, Liberty County, for $1250 “five negro slaves namely Fatima and her four children, [looks like] Thaderus, Margarett, Solomon & Jim together with the future issue and increase of the female slaves…” Witnessed by George W. Walthour. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on March 5, 1835.
