Enslaved Persons Named: Isaac, Peter

On June 13, 1834, David Stetson, Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note of $3000 to Ralph and William King, doing business under the name R & W King, “two negro men slaves named Isaac & Peter,” along with an 84-acre tract of land on the Sand Hills in Liberty County bounded north by lands of the estate of Matthew Bennett, south by the estate of Andrew Walthour, east by Thomas Bacon, and west by William N. Way, and a 22-acre tract of land also on the Sand Hills bounded south by Charlton Hines, west by Dr. Charles West, and east by William N. Way. Witnessed by Wm. W. Gordon, Notary Public. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on June 19, 1834. [NOTE: Marked satisfied as of March 1, 1838.]
