On May 3, 1834, Sarah Miller, Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note of $301 to Uriah Wilcox, also of Liberty County, “a certain female slave named Judy & her son July, another female slave named Cretia, together with the future issue and increase of the females.” Witnessed by R.S. Leonard. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on May 5, 1834.  [NOTE: Full satisfaction of deed marked on it by Oliver Stevens, administrator, as of August 13, 1838. Satisfaction recorded same day.]
