On November 5, 1833, “nine negroes of the Est. Josiah Wilson deceased” were sold at public auction in front of the courthouse at Riceborough:

Lot #1 Cnda [SIC, probably Cinda] & Child sold [to] A. Stewart for $400
Lot #2 Peggy sold to Moses Jones for $370
Lot #3 Cuffee, Dianna, Young Dianna, Lucy, Sarah & Jane sold to Moses Jones for $1290
Elias Fort was listed as the executor. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on March 25, 1834.
