On July 19, 1834, Robert J. Wheeler, Liberty County, sold to Edwin H. Bacon, same county, for $550 “the following property viz. Three negro Slaves Diana with her son Dick a boy three years of age and her infant daughter named Mariah…” Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on September 29, 1834.
