On February 14, 1834, David Anderson, Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note for $1479.75 to R & W King “the following named negro slaves to wit, Prime aged thirty two years Toney aged thirty five years August aged twenty four years Selina aged thirty years Jinney [alt: Jenny] aged eleven years Betty aged nine years Polly aged six year and Katy aged ten years, together with the issue of the females…” Witnessed by Joseph L. Shaffer, Notary Public. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on February 20, 1834. [NOTE: Marked as satisfied by R & W King. Recorded on February 10, 1843.]
