On March 6, 1833, at Savannah, Stephen B. Williams sold to John Stevens for $2312.50 “the following slaves, viz. Phillis, Eve, John, Peggy, Sam, Tenah, and Phoebe and Billy her children.” Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on May 2, 1833.
