On April 13, 1825, John Bacon sold to Charlton Hines and Lewis Hines, trustees of Mrs. Mary Jane Bacon, for her use, “the following named negroes & their increase, viz. Stephen, a carpenter fellow; Clarinda, Tim & Sary, girls…” Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on October 4, 1833.
