Enslaved Persons Named: Eliza

On March 21, 1832, at Union Ferry, South Carolina, Y.S. Pickard, of Savannah, sold to William Roberts, administrator of the estate of Thos. [Thomas] Kallender, deceased of Liberty County, for $400 “a certain negro girl slave, about eighteen years of age, named Eliza, with her future issue.” Witnessed by John Lloyd, Joseph S. Shaffer, Notary Public. Recorded in Liberty County Superior Court on March 28, 1832.
