On June 20, 1842, David Delk sold to John Delk for $1447 “the following property to wit: Balam [alt: Balaam], Abram, Sarah, Daniel, & Sarenah.” Witnessed by Z.L. Boggs, J.P. Recorded on July 16, 1842, by E. Way, Clerk. [NOTE: In deeds on this same page, David Delk sold land to other members of his family.]
