On June 20, 1842, David Delk sold for $1447 to Susan Delk, both of Liberty County, “the following property to wit five negro slaves Stephen, Dinah, John, Joe & Jane.” Witnessed by Z.L. Boggs, J.P. Recorded on July 16, 1842, by E. Way, Clerk.
