On February 23, 1842, Oliver Stevens, administrator of the estate of U. Wilcox, paid $850 to have “the Negroes Agnes & Sam” released entirely from “the executions & Judgements” against the estate, and on March 7, 1842, he requested the Clerk & Sheriff of Liberty County to note this. Recorded on March 15, 1842, by E. Way, Clerk
