Enslaved Persons Named: Prissy [alt: Priscilla], Tom, James, P (?), Tenah, Sam (Little), Windsor, Jack, Primus, Leah, Rachel

On February 3, 1840, the executors of John Lambert’s estate (Thomas Mallard, John Dunwody, Wm. Q. Baker, Ezra Stacy, Wm. Jones) used the authority granted them by a December 23, 1838 act of the Georgia General Assembly to sell to G.W. Dunham, of Liberty County, for $4875 “the following named Slaves viz. Prissy [alt: Priscilla], Tom James P Tenah Little Sam Windsor Jack Primus Leah & Rachel…” [NOTE: It is not clear what/who the “P” refers to.] Witnessed by W.E.W. Quarterman, S. Spencer, J.I.C.L.C. Recorded on June 7, 1840, by E. Way, Clerk.
