Comments: A horse, furniture, and some tools to which Mrs. Rebecca Shepard, Thomas Shepard’s widow, had claim, were first divided into 5 lots, of which she drew lot #1. The remaining lots were then added to “the negro property” and items to which Mrs. Shepard had no claim, and were redivided into four lots. Mr. John F. Williams drew lot #3 for his wife [not named], and the other three lots remained as the property of the minor heirs.
