Wilkins, Liberty County, “the following Negro slaves thirty in number, to wit, Cate, Mariah, Lily, May, Bama, June, Caesar, Boston, Edward, Clarinda, Grace, Hannah, Charlotte, Billy, Pollux, Dick, Philady [alt: Phyllida], Nanny, Diana, Harry, Toby, George, John, Big John, little John, Lucy, Peter, Matilda, Nella, Scylla [alt: Silla]…” Witnessed by Paul H. Wilkins, Joseph Felt, J.P. Recorded on June 8, 1838, by E. Way, Clerk. [NOTE: Written on this deed was “Satisfied this 10th May 1855. A.B. Wilkins. Entered this 10th May 1855. S.A.
