On March 3, 1831, Richard S. Baker and Ann Baker sold “three negro slaves viz Sam and his two children Abram and Daniel” for $650 to Wm. [William] N. Way. Witnessed by Joseph Way. Probated by Joseph Way on July 24, 1846.
