On June 3, 1837, John Miller, Liberty County, gifted to his daughter Eliza Williams “a certain negro woman named Jane and her child Elsey…” Witnessed by Newman Bradley and Z.L. Boggs, J.P. Recorded on February 3, 1846, by J.S. Bradwell, Clerk.
