On March 4, 1845, Joseph Law, Liberty County, sold for $2600 to Josiah S. Law, Liberty County, “the following named negro slaves eight in number viz Harry, Amelia, Patty, Anthony, Stepney, Stephen and Patty’s two children Edward and Washington.” Witnessed by P.W. Fleming, Matilda Fleming. Recorded on March 13, 1845, by J.S. Bradwell, Clk.
