On January 13, 1845, at Savannah, Abial Winn sold for $1200 to Raymond Cay “one negro male slave known and called by the name of Brister…” Witnessed by John E. Ward, Notary Public. Recorded on January 27, 1845, by J.S. Bradwell, Clerk.
