On May 14, 1842, Joseph Jones, Liberty County, sold for $500 to John Jones, also of Liberty County, “The following negro Slaves to wit: Eleanor twenty seven years of age and Lymus her child…” Witnessed  by Charles B. Jones, James N. Jones. Recorded on November 21, 1842, by E. Way, Clerk.
