On March 23, 1853, Sarah Bird gifted to her daughter Ann Eliza Daniel, via her trustee and husband Enoch Daniel, “one negro girl a slave together with all and singular the increase of said Negro girl by name of Willoby [alt: Willowby, Willoughby].” Witnessed by Georgia A. ?Turner? and John A. Hendry, J.I.C.L.C. Recorded on November 22, 1853, by [Liberty County Superior Court] Clerk S.A. Fraser.
