Enslaved Persons Named: William F. Anderson, Elizabeth Anderson

On February 9, 1853, Charles M. Cooper of McIntosh County sold to William A. Dunham, Henry T. Hall, and James S. Bradwell for $200 “the two following named negro slaves to wit one named William F. Anderson aged about three years and one named Elizabeth Anderson aged about one year.” “To have and to hold the aforesaid bargained property to them the said William A. Dunham Henry T. Hall & Jas. S. Bradwell or the survivor of them or the assigns of such survivor in trust for John Anderson the father of the said two above named children for the use of said children.” Witnessed by Armond Lefils, J.P. Recorded on January 25, 1853, by S.A. Fraser, Clerk.
