On July 23, 1850, Edwin H. Bacon, Liberty County, used as collateral on a promissory note to Geo. [George] W. Anderson “and Brother” at the Planter’s Bank of Georgia for $2023 “the following negro slaves viz: Prime [or Prince], Cooper Harry, Sam, Big Nanny, Big Tina, William, Bob and Daphne.” Witnessed by Charles T. Hart, O. T. Bacon. Recorded on August 1, 1850, by J.S. Bradwell, Clk.
