On October 4, 1845, Robert F. White sold for $300 to Mrs. Ann Wade “a certain negro woman slave named Cloe [alt: Chloe].” Signed by Robert F. White and Susan A. White; witnessed by A. Boulineau, J.P. and J.F. Beasley. [NOTE: This deed was copied into the Liberty County deed book, but was executed in Savannah, Chatham County, and the date of recording in Liberty County was not stated.]
