On December 5, 1859, Laura C. Jones sold to Randal F. Jones for $700 “the following property to wit a certain negro boy named Floyd about thirteen years of age.” Witnessed by Thos. McConnell, W.P. Girardeau, Not. Pub. Recorded on December 22, 1859, by S.A. Fraser, Clerk.
