“Received Liberty County April 30th 1855 from Mrs. E.S.L. Jones administratrix of Estate of Laura M. Jones through H.H. Jones atty for admix my full share of the property real and personal of said L.M. Jones to wit two Negro slaves named Isabella and Crawford, and valued at $800, one share of stock in C.R. Road & B. Co. Two hundred and twenty nine 28/100 dollars in ready money and C.B. Jones due bill for $15.60 dated Dec. 26, 1854. Signed & delivered in presence of T.W. Quarterman, J.P.” Signed by John Jones. Recorded on June 6, 1855, by S.A. Fraser, Clerk.
