Screven, Edward Maxwell Screven, and Benjamin Baker Screven, Minors, agreeing on 4 April 1861 to pay them $252.77. Witnessed by Jno. [John] B. Mallard, J.I.C.L.C. Recorded on 18 April 1861 by Jesse Brewer, Clerk. [NOTE: Marked on the document was “Satisfied this 28th April 1863. B.S. Screven. Entered this 11th ?Feby? 1864. Jesse Brewer, C.S.C.L.C.”
