Enslaved Person Named: Hary

James Hariston of Abbeville County, South Carolina, sold to John Dickson “…one Negro boy by the name of Hary [alt: Harry]…” for $180 on March 25, 1798.  Witnessed by James Girardeau, Robert Hariston. [NOTE: Name definitely spelled Hariston in text, but a Google search indicates Hairston might be the actual name.]
