John Graves of Liberty County. Last Will and Testament dated August 25, 1794. Gives to his “affectionate friend” Mrs. Sarah P. Maxwell, and directs his brother William Graves to deliver to her certain chattels. To his niece, Elizabeth Swinton Hughes, the lot adjoining the lot in Sunbury where he lives. Gives to said brother William Graves and directs him to take care of and maintain said Elizabeth Swinton Hughes as long as she remains single. Executors: His said brother William Graves and friend, Alexander Forrester. Witnesses: James Powell, James James, Mary Senior. No date of probate.
