Footman, Bryan County, used as collateral on two promissory notes of $325 to Ann Gray, same place, “the two following male slaves viz Sedley and Frank.” Witnessed by Sarah M. Charlton, Catharine M. Waters. Probated by Catharine M. Waters on March 14, 1831. Total payment noted as $325 plus interest of $52. Recorded in Bryan County Superior Court on April 29, 1831. Witnessed by Robert M. Charlton. Recorded in Bryan County Superior Court on November 28, 1831.
